TedFest is a fun, family-friendly music festival held in the beautiful countryside of Wallsburg, Utah. Featuring a mix of contemporary and traditional roots-based music, TedFest brings together the best of Bluegrass, Acoustic, Contemporary, Folk, Americana, Latino, Blues, Celtic, Jazz, Old-time, Country, and Singer-Songwriter music. Click to learn more.

TedFest 2026 is being dedicated in memory of its founder, Ted Shupe, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 86. Ted dedicated his entire life to music and community. From his early days performing with his family’s dance band to creating youth groups, festivals, venues, and cultural arts programs, Ted’s greatest joy was helping people—especially young musicians—find their place on stage.

If Ted saw something beautiful, he wanted everyone to experience it. He built spaces where music could thrive, where families could gather, and where beginning musicians received their first chance to shine. Because of him, thousands of people found community, confidence, and joy through music.

TedFest will continue in his honor, carrying forward his lifelong mission of sharing music, culture, and opportunity. We invite those who loved Ted or were touched by his work to make a memorial donation in his honor.

Thank you for keeping Ted’s spirit alive with your music, friendship, and love. The world is brighter because Ted was in it — and a little quieter without him.
